BISING

My hometown, Jakarta, is known to be very crowded. It’s easy to feel annoyed and uneasily surrounded in this busy and bustling town by the noises of vehicles, people’s chattering everywhere, news and announcements blaring in nearly every public areas with TV / audio systems. Sometimes, I wonder if I can fight back this noises from taking on my head, or just hopelessly drown in it.

In this piece of illustration, I draw a figure of a man with an ambiguous pose, that can be represents a fighting (kicking) pose, or falling / drowning pose. Surrounding the man are vast amount of ravens, all shrieking and screaming around the man.
