THE VAGUE DEFINITION OF INNOCENCE

The forms of innocence are vague in each culture. We all were born innocent;
do we able to live innocent?
Or can we avoid living guilty and die
innocent? Thus, the continuous span of time has influenced the perceptive of innocence. Some people manage to live innocently,
but the others cannot. When people grow older, they tend to make choices. Being corrupted, accused, and judged based on certain situation could be unavoidable. Social media and technology became the easy platforms to expose deceptive image. In modern day, people are actually living in ignorance and hypocrisy, while trying to convince themselves that they live innocently.
Inspired by Indonesian historical cases,
this set of artworks tries to represent the transformation of humanity and its relation with the world of innocence.
